Death Cafes

A Death Cafe is an agenda free space and time designated for an open discussion on death and dying in the community. There is always a facilitator and some refreshments available. These can be held anywhere people gather, such as churches, libraries, community centers even funeral homes or cemeteries. My End Of Life Northwest holds virtual and in person Death Cafes. See Calendar at bottom of page to find the next scheduled Death Cafe.

Death Positive Community Events

Death is the 2nd leading fear in the US, and this has lead us as a society, to complete avoidance of it. The Death Positive Movement is growing, and in turn our communities events in regards to positive open discussions on death and dying are growing. Looking around your local area for end of life talks, education and workshops is a fantastic way to increase your awareness and knowledge on end of life.
